Expected Outcomes

The Forum is expected to attract around 1,000 entrepreneurs and representatives of MSME and entrepreneurship  support institutions from the around the world, in addition to dignitaries and officials from the Islamic Development Bank, the African Development Bank Group, Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, Global Entrepreneurship Week, United Nations MCSR Cities Alliance, World Business Angels Investment Forum, Saudi Fund for Development, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Arab Fund Social and Economic Development and others

Expected Outcomes

  • The Forum aims to provide a platform for Entrepreneurs to Entrepreneurs bilateral meetings and matching with the aim of developing joint investments, collaboration and trade facilitation.
  • Present the UNIDO tools and methodologies towards meeting the SDGs, by utilizing entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • Create linkages with financial institutions for entrepreneurs and develop joint programs with developmental financial institutions.
  • Develop a roadmap for the Maritime-Continental Silk Road Entrepreneurs Alliance.
  • Allow the participants to deliberate on the challenges, opportunities, threats, and the road forward towards improved integration along the Maritime-Continental Silk Road through entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Develop a strategy and supporting policies to enhance and increase the role of women entrepreneurs in industry.
